LOVE, AMERICAN STYLE
I was thinking of thinking of thinking
of divorcing you. I remembered
Sarah Palin calling marriage a covenant
with God. God really must get over
being disappointed in people.
Things break. They just do. So,
should I divorce you or should we
vacation in the Yukon? We could hunt
for little yellow flowers that Minnie said
grew wild outside of Whitehorse, renew
creaky vows on the steps of a restaurant
that won’t reopen, turn our bodies
into dice and roll them right out of
the closed casino of time
