Sky Swimming
Blushing like a deep pink rose,
The sky was ridged with cloudy pebbles,
A beach the cranes skimmed across
Where dreams almost meld into reality
Buzzing between my ears.
Antique sundial layering my tepid heart
Whilst the golden dust of the sun
Simmered in flesh, craving intimacy
In the silk of sky, crafted by the skin of stars.
I jump,
Dive into the sky merging
With the lapsing ocean,
Where reality is an uncertain creature
Hiding amongst the naked pebbles,
And I swim out into the vast sea
Of sky,
Wandering to the place
That no one calls home,
Where the mad go
And don’t return.
